No, this event is for advisors who have registered and received a confirmation email from Fidelity.

All education sessions will take place at the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre, which is located at 120 - 9th Avenue SE, South Building, Calgary, AB, T2G0P3. Our event will be held in the Macleod Hall BCD.

In keeping with our efforts to support the green initiative, your digital ticket will be sent one week prior to event day to the email address you registered with. Please be ready to scan it from your mobile device on-site the day of the event on September 7, 2023.

To qualify for CE credits for the event, you are required to sign in by scanning your digital ticket at our on-site kiosks and scan out when you leave. Digital tickets will be sent one week ahead of the event.

Fidelity will apply for CE credits immediately following the event. Any applicable CE credits will be assigned retroactively and will be emailed to eligible attendees in approximately six to eight weeks. Fidelity will submit event content to the following regulatory bodies for review:

• Institute for Advanced Financial Education (IAFE)
• Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC)
• Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (MFDA)
• Chambre de la sécurité financière (CSF)*

* Continuing education regulations in Quebec and Saskatchewan require that sessions which are submitted for accreditation must be at least one hour in length. Accordingly, Fidelity will apply for credits for certain sessions together (e.g., two consecutive portfolio manager presentations). In these cases, advisors from Quebec or Saskatchewan must attend both sessions to receive the credit.

Yes, Fidelity Investments is happy to support the green initiative effort by going paperless. A QR code will be available on-site the day of the event to access the presentations and other event related materials.

Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi will be offered in the meeting room at the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre.

No, National Instrument 81-105, Mutual Fund Sales Practices, does not permit Fidelity Investments to pay for or provide transportation for attendees to and from an event. (This includes the payment of a car rental fee, parking expenses and any gas or mileage in relation to a car used by an attendee during the conference.) If applicable, you will need to make and pay for your own arrangements for airport transfer via your preference (taxi, car rental, airport shuttle, etc.).

The Calgary Parking Authority runs a 433-stall underground parkade (Lot 60) at the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre, located at 727 First Street SE. For a map, rates and hours, see Lot 60.

You will need to make and pay for your own accommodations. National Instrument 81-105, Mutual Fund Sales Practices, does not permit Fidelity Investments to pay for or provide accommodations for event attendees.

This event supports closed captioning in French and Chinese. To access closed captioning, click the settings icon at the bottom right of your screen and switch closed captioning on, and then select your language.

Yes, please go to the link found in your confirmation email to switch your choice. Space availability for the in-person event may be limited closer to the date of the actual event.

Please note: You can only be registered for either the in-person or the virtual event, not both.

On the video controls of your player, select the Google Cast or Apple AirPlay icon and then select the device to which you would like to cast the video.

1. Make sure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network.
2. Open Chrome on your computer.
3. At the top right of the active browser tab showing the event, click More (three dots) > Cast...
4. Choose the Chromecast device where you want to watch the content. If you’re already using Chromecast, your content will replace what’s on your TV.
5. When you’re done, to the right of the address bar, click Cast to stop casting.
